being a good parent requires creativity and brains. sometimes, i feel like i am not smart enough. all these steps sound so logical and intuitively right, but, in the moment, when my toddler smacks me in the face, i can't seem to think back to any of these steps. lol.

Do you have a video or advice for someone adopting some of the methods and 1 child (2 yrs soon) and doesnt walk yet? Its hard to get him involved in chores like cooking, dishes, etc. He'll try to eat raw egg off his hand in the helper or scoots with silverware

I just found your channel and I love your ideas! I’m a sixty-two years old grandmother of four but I volunteer in my church’s nursery. I get so tired of the same old toys they have. They love handmade activities. (A Christmas tree with Velcro ornaments made from old cards)Now you’ve given me some fresh ideas that are so cost effective! And it’s fine if they don’t last, unlike a pricey toy that breaks. Thank you!

I really wanted to do a weaning table for my son to give him the freedom to come and go from it as he pleases, but as soon as I set up the table he saw it as a climbing gym 🤦‍♀

After watching the video and reading the comments, a blended approach seems optimal. Perhaps leaning more heavily on the Waldorf philosophy in the first seven years of life and then leaning more on the Montessori philosophy after seven.

Thanks for sharing your experience. My girlfriend made a good decision as to abort 40 years ago. She had tubular pregnancy in that day.

One thing I would tell my past self is to say “no thank you” to all of the different advice that the nurses gave me in the hospital. Every single one had a different opinion and it got so confusing. Then the actual lactation consultant came in and was so helpful and gave me real, useful advice. When I have my second baby, I think I’ll feel much more confident to politely turn down advice from anyone who isn’t an actual expert. I also used lanolin on my nipples every single time after feeding from the very beginning and, thankfully, did not have cracked nipples. I will do that again. Thanks for sharing your experience!
